Shaina Rowell, PhD (developmental psychology), joined CIRCLE in June 2017 as an Educational Specialist in Psychological & Brain Sciences. Shaina is part of the Transformational Initiative for Education in STEM (TIES) program, which provides assistance and resources for faculty to incorporate evidence-based teaching techniques into their courses. Shaina collaborates with faculty in the Psychological & Brain Sciences department to increase student learning and engagement. She also works with other researchers at CIRCLE to evaluate the impact of course changes.
