Dr. Kathy Miller is Professor Emerita of Biology at Washington University in St. Louis. Kathy is Principal Investigator for the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) Inclusive Excellence Initiative on WashU’s campus. This five-year grant funded by HHMI aims to foster inclusive classrooms and student support systems through evidence-based psychosocial and metacognitive strategies. Kathy has been a long time champion of inclusivity in STEM and continues her work in leading this project.
