Chris Wally, Ph.D. (Health Psychology), joined CIRCLE in September 2017 as Project Manager & Evaluator of a five-year grant project from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Currently, Chris serves as Project Manager and Research Scientist at CIRCLE working on a number of projects that evaluate student learning and help improve instructional practices in STEM courses at WashU.
Prior to CIRCLE, Chris’s research spanned health, social, and environmental psychology. His primary focus was examining the effects of exercise and interacting with nature on physical and mental health. Now, Chris hopes to apply his knowledge of how social and environmental factors impact health to help students achieve their full potential when learning.
