Angela Fink

Angela Fink, PhD (Linguistics), joined CIRCLE in November 2016 as a Project Manager and Research Scientist. In this role, Angela facilitated the design, administration, and evaluation of learning interventions in a range of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) courses. Some of her projects included investigating how students’ mindsets and their sense of belonging in STEM impacted their academic performance and retention in the STEM community. Angela now works in the Office of Undergraduate Research at WashU as the Program Director.

Prior to joining the CIRCLE team, Angela’s research explored the interplay between different cognitive processes, particularly cognitive control and language processing, as well as individual differences in these processes and their interaction.
