This workshop was held on Wednesday, August 14th from 12-1:30PM in McMillan Cafe. A short presentation highlighted research on inclusivity in WashU introductory STEM courses, and was followed by a working-group session on strategies to better foster an inclusive environment in the classroom. Groups generated posters, there was a gallery walk where faculty could add suggestions to other groups’ posters, followed by another working group session.
